  • Further study with Guru Kalaimamani Smt. Krishnakumari Narendran - AbhinayaNatyalaya, Chennai, India.
  • Natuvangam training with Bhagavatula Seetharama Sharma and Shri Narayanaswamy.
  • Accounting graduate

CHOREOGRAPHY & PRODUCTIONS:

  • Ultimate Surrender Depicting the traditional stories from the traditional Epics (Ramayana and Mahabharatha)
  • Dasa Avatar ( ten incarnation) : A large production involving 40 dancers depicting the 10 incarnations of Lord Narayana with special light effects.
  • Dances of India (Mere Pyara Hindustan) Different dances of India with Multimedia
  • Thirupaan Alwar (Name of a saint): A social thematic dance ballet, story of a Saint who lived in 8th century A.D. that the supreme energy is present in everyone.
  • Universal Oneness (Sarvam Krishna Mayam- A True story which depicts the Lord is omnipresent.
  • Panniru Maadha Bhavani Vizha: A unique feature on the months of the Tamil Calendar.
  • Cosmic Dancer : Story of Lord Shiva's greatness.
  • Lord Jesus : Songs depicting the greatness of Lord Jesus.
  • The Ganges: Dance drama depicting the story of River Ganga. Performance included 20 dancers at the World Telugu Conference in Long Island, NY
  • Krishna Leela Tharangini: Enacting the stories of Lord Krishna's miracles.
  • Surrender of Vibeeshana ( the demon king): Episodes from The Ramayana
  • Durga: Enacting the Story of Goddess Durga, slayer of the demon Mahisha.
  • Performed in an off Broadway show Draupadi at La MaMa Etc New York City a Dance Ballet.
  • Krishana Dance Productions at Babson College MA.
  • Guest choreographer for Dance USM at the University of Southern Maine.

ACTIVITIES:

  • Selected as Master Teacher by the Maine Arts Commission in the south Indian Bharathanatyam dance tradition- 2008.
  • As an ambassador of Indian culture, gave speeches on Sanathana Dharma(Eternal Values), at Unitarian Church in Essex Massachusetts and the Rotary Club of Yarmouth, Me
  • Lecture demonstrations on Indian Dance at Blue point school, Scarborough, ME, Scarborough Middle School, Lakewood Elementary School, NY, Town of Scarborough 350th Celebration, University of Southern Maine.
  • Lecture demonstration and presentation of Ramayana (Indian epic) for Theatre students, Dance Workshop International Dance Buffet, Ramapo College, New Jersey
  • A W A K E (Asian Women Alliance for Kinship and Equality)at Suny Rockland, NY Cultural Arts Center.
  • Also conducted several workshops and Master classes in NY and NJ.
  • Radio interview by Noel Bonam, WMPG, 101.4, in their talk show Culture Matters 2008s.
  • Has done several Dance Arangetrams (Dance Graduations).
  • Board of Directors - Portland Conservatory of Music, Portland, Maine
  • Judged the Indian Traditional Classical Dance competition in Stony Point NY twice for the U.S. Indian Traditional Classical Dance contest held in New York and New Jersey.
